HILARIOUS dog! Still very much a puppy at around a year old, Toto is a 20 lb wild man! What a cute mix of Schnauzer and Shih Tzu - his coat is an interesting brindle color that doesn't shed. Love it when he lays like a frog or swims through the grass. He loves to run around in the back yard and fetch toys. He is a SMART little dog and a fast learner. Toto makes an excellent watch dog - will bark if someone is in your driveway but isn't too yappy (he calms down after a bit). We're told he does well with school-aged kids (5+) and he seems to be okay with young neighbor kids through the fence. He lets you pick him up and rolls over for belly rubs, also does great on the groom table, so he has a great temperament. However, he does not do well with other dogs in the house - he must be the only dog. He does well in a car and is crate trained. He will need supervised for house training in a new environment. Toto's perfect home would be a family with a fenced-in back yard that understands that he has a lot of puppy in him still that needs to be worked out (likes to jump, chew, and tug on your pant legs.) Toto's adoption donation is $250. Included in that donation is spay/neuter, Microchip, all vaccines (Rabies, Bordatella, DHPP), heartworm test (negative), wormed, and is on heartworm/flea/tick preventative.
